LeadForge B2B Lead Finding App Privacy Policy

LeadForge Privacy PolicyEffective March 24, 2026

LeadForge is a fully client-side web application, meaning it runs entirely within your browser with no backend server of its own. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any LeadForge-controlled server. No usage analytics, behavioral tracking, IP logging, or telemetry of any kind takes place. The only data that persists between sessions is saved locally in your browser's localStorage — specifically your LinkedIn credentials, Groq API key, model preference, and business context description. This data never leaves your device unless you copy it yourself, and you can delete it at any time using the "🗑 Clear All" button in the API Setup tab or by clearing your browser's site data.

When you perform a lead search or job search, LeadForge sends requests directly from your browser to the LinkedIn API using your OAuth access token. When you qualify leads, generate outreach, or run AI analysis, your browser communicates directly with the Groq API using your Groq key. LeadForge does not sit in the middle of these connections — it does not see, log, or intercept them. Both LinkedIn and Groq receive only what is necessary to fulfill your request (your credentials as an authorization header, plus your search parameters or prompt content), and each processes that data under their own privacy policies, which you can review at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy and groq.com/privacy-policy respectively.

You are responsible for the API credentials you use within LeadForge. This means keeping your LinkedIn access token and Groq API key secure, revoking them promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, and ensuring your use of the LinkedIn API complies with LinkedIn's Developer Agreement and rate limits. LeadForge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of LinkedIn Corporation or Groq. Using the App to mass-harvest LinkedIn data in violation of LinkedIn's terms of service is your sole responsibility, and LeadForge accepts no liability for such misuse.

If you retrieve personal data about individuals through the LinkedIn API while using LeadForge — such as names, job titles, and company information — you may be acting as a data controller under laws like the GDPR (for EU residents) or CCPA (for California residents). LeadForge itself does not act as a data controller or processor in the traditional sense since no data passes through our servers, but your own obligations under applicable privacy law still apply when you process other people's personal data. LeadForge does not sell personal information, and Demo Mode generates entirely fictional, AI-fabricated data that does not represent real individuals.

This Privacy Policy may be updated when new versions of the App are released. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. LeadForge is intended for professional use by adults only and is not directed at children under 13. Because the App has no backend or user accounts, there is no formal support channel — for questions about third-party data handling, refer directly to LinkedIn's and Groq's privacy documentation. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of this policy.
